1. What is a computer?

A computer is a device that accepts input, processes data, stores data, and produces output. It consists of input, storage, and output devices. A typical computer system comprises hardware and software.

What is hardware?

Hardware is the electronic and mechanical devices that process data. These include both on-board and peripheral devices. Some basic hardware components are:

1. The input devices which are the keyboard and mouse.
2. The processing devices are the memory and processor.
3. The storage devices are the Hard drive, Floppy disc and Cd-Rom.
4. The output devices are monitor, Printer and software.
