HoD Support
As part of the GIF Technology Education initiative, HoD days have been held throughout the country on an opportunities and as-needs basis, for both HoDs and teachers responsible for Technology in secondary schools.
The first HoD day was held in October 2005, to take advantage of the TENZ 2005 conference. The second groups of days was held in June/July 2006 and were regionally based.
On the basis of the evaluation of these HoD days, further support strategies will be planned and implemented.
